I have a file which contains millions of records of data. I need to split it into 18 files.The number of records is varying each & every month. |

Hello,
Please post the "rules" on how you want to split the data? What will cause data to go into file 7 instead of file 16?
Your request is similar to one from a while back that said "I need to write a program". Well, ok, but . . . .
For us to be able to offer suggestions, you need to provide some definition of the requirement.
Why are there 18 files - is that some kind of clue to the downstream processes? Are there 18 locations that need their data split nto an individual file? |
