Hi,
I don't want to use the NOT IN option. Do i have alternative for the same? I heard that NOT IN will reduce the efficiency.
Can any1 help me on this ?
Thanks,

There could be many ways depending on what you want to retrieve. NOT IN avoids using INDEX efficiently. This is not preferred only if you huge data in the table. There may be situations where you have to use it. |

Hello,
Please post what your requirement is. You've posted that you'd like an alternative to "NOT IN", but knowing what you need to accomplish would be helpful in generating suggestions.
Include some sample info about what you want to include/exclude. Include how many rows the table has and maybe an estimate of how many rows will be excluded/included. |
