Hi cn u tell me difference bewteen MPP,BMP and batch programs.. Please tell difference in terms of coding a program .. thankx

Here is the defn:
BMP - Batch Message processing program
MPP - Message Processing program

There's lot of difference in coding and logic flow, before that you should decide what type of program you need. One is Batch and another is ONLINE.

To see the coding difference I reckon you to go thru IMS DC for COBOL programs by Steve Eckols. This is great book for beginning IMS.
