How to cancel the job, it is not cancelling when we are using c(cancel) or p(purge)... any alternate for cancel the job. |

Hi,
You can cancel the job using C. If it is active. You can delete the job from spool list using P if it is inactive. These are allowed if you are the owner of the job.

I THINK WE CAN DO THIS USING OUTLIST .
FOR THIS FROM TSO WE HAVE TO GIVE 3.8 OPTION
IN THE OUTLIST SCREEN/PANNEL U WILL FIND THE OTIONS LIKE
---->C CANCEL JOB
---->D DELETE JOB,......ETC.

Hi,
If your job runs a program that has db2 operations in it.
Sometimes,, it takes time due to some contentions, in this case, u may try cancelling the job thread using DB2 query monitor.
