How to CANCEL the Job

How to cancel the job, it is not cancelling when we are using c(cancel) or p(purge)... any alternate for cancel the job.

Hi,

You can cancel the job using C. If it is active. You can delete the job from spool list using P if it is inactive. These are allowed if you are the owner of the job.

I THINK WE CAN DO THIS USING OUTLIST .
FOR THIS FROM TSO WE HAVE TO GIVE 3.8 OPTION

IN THE OUTLIST SCREEN/PANNEL U WILL FIND THE OTIONS LIKE
---->C CANCEL JOB
---->D DELETE JOB,......ETC.

CHECK OUT ONCE

Hi,

If your job runs a program that has db2 operations in it.
Sometimes,, it takes time due to some contentions, in this case, u may try cancelling the job thread using DB2 query monitor.

Let me know if this works.
