This is the main Volume. It is created by the installation itself... u cant create it only when u create a new VSAM or a new installation.. |

Hi,
I went thru this post and had a doubt.
Now after I create an alias for my PDS, will the changes in the alias get reflected in the parent PDS...? Or is it an independent entity....?
Cheers,

when you open or list the alias PDS, Actually it will access the parent PDS.. It's an alias name for the PDS. |
