Hi all
i was asked this Question
by looking at the DD statement in Jcl can we determine wheatherit is a Vsam or a simple Flat file.
if it is not a GDG.
If yes How.
can anybody give any ans.

There is no way to differentiate VSAM from PS by the name only.
