| Is there any tool to get the number of segment occurence in each segment in a database. This can be done programatically but if there is a tool available then I thought it would run faster. Please suggest. |

There are utilities, depends on what your shop has.
eg unload utilities would have a report output normally with segment counts.
your DBAs should have details of them. |

Could you explain what you exactly want to know? If you want to know how many occurrences of a segmenttype are present use some tool like re-organise. |
