HOW to get the SMF Record info for VSAM operation

where can we retrieve the SMF Record info for VSAM operation?

Any online report tools ? any DASD dataset ?

ie. for SMF Record Type 60 to 69.

Hi,

Pls check if the SMF parmlib in ur installation collects record type 60 to 69. If yes, then use IFASMFDP to dump the SMF records to a falt file make sure you mention the record type to be dumped.

You can use SORT to sort the data and then use ERBRMFPP utility to get post processor reports.
