Hi,

Can anyone guide me to some good online tutorials on RPF. I could not find any.

Also if someone has used CULPRIT (not sure if its a CA product) , pls let me know of any online tutorials on it.

Hello Pav,

If your system has ROSCOE installed, the RPF tutorials may already be installed.

Part I - Basic RPF Program.
Part II - Advanced RPF.
Part III - Synopsis of New Facilities.

If you check with your ROSCOE support, they should be able to tell you if they are installed and how to invoke them.

Hi Pav,

To log in to ROSCOE, you will need to select it from your VTAM selection screen (if you have one).

Your best bet is to talk with the people who support ROSCOE - they can tell you how you need to log in. If you've not used ROSCOE yet, you will also need a ROSCOE id set up.

Once you are set up, logging in is similar to TSO. You tell the system you want ROSCOE and a signon screen is presented (or possibly bypassed if your is set up that way). Enter your id/pwd and you're in!

A ROSCOE tutorial also comes with the product. Again, check with your ROSCOE support and ask if this is available or if they would install it.

Hi d.sch,

I have logged into ROSCOE. Dont know most of the commands though. I have just found from another post on this forum that roscoe tutorail is accessible in ROSCOE using the command "RTU.TUTORIAL" . Similarly is there a command that gets me the RPF tutorial?

TIA! PAV

Hi Pav,

Yes, try xxx.TRAINING. It may be RTU or something else. Your ROSCOE folks should know how it was set up.

Hi Pav,

That was supposed to be exexex, but the system doesn't like triple-x.

Sorry 'bout that.
