how to copy last 50 records in a seq file to another..

HI,
can any bdy tel me the logic for my query......how to copy last 50 records in a sequential file to another seq file.....but here we dont know the max records in the seq file.

You can use the technique shown in the "Keep the last n records" Smart DFSORT Trick at:
