What ever above values u use in your typrun parameter the jcl won't be executing first lets know that
SCAN = If ya give this value the job would be submitted and it just checks for the syntax of the coded jcl statements
HOLD = This option is used to tranfer the jod to the ST q and it remains in the execution state untill a user releases the job for the real execution
COPY = If ya use this option the system directly transfers the content to the output q without executing the JCL
and if ya don't specify typrun parameter in your job it would take typrun=run wich is the default parameter
