Hi
I have a requirement where at the end of each day an administrator would be running a REXX utility that monitors the jobs currently in spool.
The REXX should use an input file that contains a list of owners. The final report should contain the jobs that are in EXECUTION status for each of the owners listed in the input dataset.
Any idea how I should approach this problem ?
Im pretty new to writing REXX utilities and a help in any form is highly appreciated. |

Search for batch SDSF in this forum. You will find lots of examples.

Hi Ofer,
I have checked in this forum and the neighbouring forums. They have solutions for different kind of problems.
My requirement is specific as I got to check and retrieve i.e
Retrieval of the Job Owner name and Job Name from the spool based on 2 conditions:
1. The jobowner name should be present in the input dataset (containing a list if ids' )
2. The job should be in EXECUTION status.
Help in any form is highly appreciated. |
