hi can any body give example for this query?

Define an Alternate Index cluster relating to VSAM KSDS cluster with alternate key of length 10 and starting offset 5. Alternate key field is a non unique and we must restrict duplication limit to 10.

avaneendra_linga,

I aggree with William. There is nothing in the VSAM DEFINE that will limit the max. number of non-unique duplicate keys.
