I don't understand what your exact requirement is.
If your operating system is Windows or AIX, then I guess it might be possible to access the databases like SqlServer, Oracle etc..,
Or, If it is in MVS, I think it will not be possible to access databases other than DB2 and IMS. |

Hello,
There ARE ways to access sqlserver, oracle, whatever on remove platforms from cics.
You can purchase 3rd party software (i believe the term is "adaptors") that offer to do this. One vendor is iway. Information Builders also may have something that would work for you. If you search the web, i'm sure you will find more than 1.
You might also try to "write your own" but be prepared to learn things you never wanted to learn |
