Can we refer back a ddname which is set to SYSOUT

I have requirement that I need to use a data which was written to SYSOUT. Can we do like that?

You might try Lionel B. Dyck's SDSFEXT, a generalized SDSF batch (or TSO) tool to extract a report into a dataset.

You can write your file instead to a dataset (perm or temp) and refer to it in the latter step. Also include a new step to use IEBGENER (e.g.) to write the dataset to SYSOUT=* if you want it in report form also.
