Can you suggest a site which gives a good understanding for icetool, so that i can prepare within a week and give a ppt on it.

You could use the Chapter on DFSORT's ICETOOL in "z/OS DFSORT: Getting Started" as the basis for your presentation. It's an excellent tutorial, with lots of examples, that will show you how to use DFSORT, DFSORT's ICETOOL and DFSORT Symbols. You can access it online, along with all of the other DFSORT books, from:
