Update Existing Column in Table From 1

Hi Friends....

Could any of u pls let me know if i can sequence a column in SQL Server 2000. I mean, we have a table that has around 1000 rows. I want yo update one of the column sequentially from 1 and incrementing by 1...

can anyone pls help....

Hi Sowmya,
I did not get your question.
you want to update a column - i.e locate a column and then update from then on by incrementing?
let me know if I got it correct?
