If i am using a redifines clause
1. At what levels i can use it (66 or 77 or 88 or 01)
2. Can we redefine a types which are different from one another
lik alphanumeric redefining numeric
3. Can we redifine of varying lenghts
lik x[9] redefining 9[5] |

we can use in 01 level
we should not use in 66, 88 levels i am not sure about 77 level

yes you can redefine in any format like Char, Alphanumeric or numeric
redefining means redefining the same memory location in different name and defferent format
3. Can we redifine of varying lenghts
lik x[9] redefining 9[5]
Yes you can redefine like this

1.REDEFINES clause should not be used for level nos- 66 and 88.
2.Yes, it is possible.
