2. A step having a temporary dataset with DISP=(NEW, CATLG,CATLG) WHAT WILL HAPPEND IF JOB RUNS SUCCESSFULLY.

hi
For your first query change the disp parameters as DISP=(NEW,CATLG,CATLG). Even if abend occurs the dataset will be catalogued and you could view it.
Using INTRDR you could execute step 5 and step 10. this particular topic has been discussed already in the forum. |

You can't.
DISP=(Current Status, Status after Normal Completion, Status after Abnormal Completion)
Now as per your DISP statement, This dataset would be deleted in case this steps terms abnormally.

PASS or DELETE are the valid normal termination parameter for Temp Datasets.

A number of ways. Using combination or RESTART and COND Parameter. Or use IEBEDIT to random execution of the steps.
Search the forum for this you'll get the results. |
