Hi,
How can i create Datasets of the same name in different Volumes? I tried in the 3.2 panel specifing the Volume serials. But that said "Duplicate Dataset name"
How do i do this??? |

Hi Suresh,
You can do it, but you can't catalog them. That means you have to include the vol ser every time you reference them.
In 3.2 you'll see a line for the volume. Fill this field with the desired vol ser. Remember the files can't reside on the same vol and, as I said earlier, you must include the vol ser every time you reference either file. |

| And if they are SMS managed volumes, then it can not be done as SMS datasets must be catalogued. |
