I have an existing map in which i am adding a new field. Because of this incorrect values are getting populated to the symbolic and Linkage section copybook members.

I have changed the linkage section copybook to accomodate the new variable.

Please suggest a solution ASAP

Hi,

When ever you change a Physical map, you have to NEWCopy both the map and the program. Since you would have changed the Symbolic map, you should recompile your program to pick up this new copybook and do a newcopy. Since you have generated a new version of the existing map, you must do a new copy of the map also.

Hope this helps.
