I have a doubt with FTP. From what I could see the FTP responses are normally in a EZAXXXXI format. Example:EZA1736I.
This seems to work this way for most of the FTP commands GET, PUT etc However with the Append the response is 2261736I. Is this normal?

The EZA* messages are from the z/OS FTP Server. The numeric messages are standard FTP messages from the remote FTP client.
