how to search a charecter string in all the generations of a GDG dataset

HI


Use 3.13 option frm ispf and give the the name of base GDG (eg:sample.priya.GDG*) if u give like this means it ill search the string in all the version

correct me if i m wrong

search a character string in all generations of GDG dataset at once.
eg search a string "hello" from the input files in between the columns 2 to 7?
