Job card NOTIFY to multiple user ids?

Hi

Usually in job card we give NOTIFY=our id or &sysuid
And we get jcl message after the job run .

My question is " Can we give multiple user id's in the NOTIFY so that multiple user gets the jcl message"

Suppose we have 8 members in the team..and each one is assigned to manually submit Job. But the submission should be in sequence .

So when user A submit's job A , and if it is sucessfull , then whole team should know its results ...and if maxcc = 0 then user B should submit job B ... and so on.....

Can someone help me

**** we can pre JOBNAME in spool and see the results of any job ....but
I want to NOTIFY to all members for the job before they go to spool "

hi Srinivas,

There is now way to notify multiple users thru NOTIFY parameter in the job card. At a time u can only notify one user-id.

U need to add a step at the end of the Job that can run a rexx program which notifies a set of users.

It's like shreevamsi told you.

Another possibility instaed of executin a programm is, you could use TSO SEND command unter IKJEFT01 to notify some users.

Just a little hint:
If you want to inform a user who is logged on at another SystemNode
you can use notify=note-id.user-id
