how will u submit 300 steps in a job,even though jcl allows 255 steps in a job?

No...You can't have move than 255 steps in a single Job.

You need to split into 2.

YES , We can submit 300 steps with in a single JCL.

But the thing is it contains two job cards.

Pls correct me , if i wrong

Hi,

We can execute 300 steps in one job as said by prashant. But it is better practice to have less steps in a job.

If steps are more distribute the steps into multiple jobs.
