Does anyone know if there is any testing tools can test IMS DC in a Marco way( sequence screens)? It will be like 'loadrunner' for PC screen. All I want that is to test a sequence IMS DC events(screens) by one click?

Thanks!

Thanks for your comment priyesh.agrawal!
I mean if testing in PC, using a testing tool load runner, you can put in 100 test cases and it will run automatically for 100 test cases or 10 screen 10 times.
I do not mean test the codes but the screen functions instead.
Thanks!

Means some tool where you can put 100 types of input values and it'll test around 100 screens and would put results some where for those 100 screens.

I am not sure if any such tool... there may be... icon_rolleyes.gif

Again what I am saying is applicable for one scrn at a time. If you just want to check what screen does, generally every shop has a test replica of screens assoicated with test database. Where it can be checked.

Well, may be somebody can put some more meaningful light on this.

What networking display protocol would such a tester need to use (HTTP, HTTP/S, 3270, HTML, etc.)?

Thanks for your comments!

The test is mainly for system or user tests instead of unit test. We have new screens which are using PC and old screens which are using IMS.

For PC, we use loadrunner(a PC test tool) to test 10 screens in one test case, such as, open a new account and we have 10 test cases, to open 10 accounts. So testers only need to create 10 scripts and submit 10 times. The results are in databases. Or we can go back to inquiry screen to check. But on IMS screen, we do not have this feature and I am looking for one.

Thanks!
