Hi All,
I am a newbie in the world of Mainframes. We have 2 DB2 subsystems on Mainframes, one for Production and other Development.
I have been given the task of replicating databases and TableSpaces that are present in Production to Development Subsystem. In some cases the Databases are already present in Dev so I only need to move data, in other cases there is nothing and I need to create the DB, TS and Tables and then populate the tables as well.
At the end of whole exercise the Prod and Dev should be the same.
We take daily backups of all TableSpaces in the Production Subsystem and I have access to all backups.
Can you please let me know what is the most fastest way of completing this exercise. What approach should I take.
We are on Db2 v7 for Z/OS
Regards,
Divakar
