How to change the properties of existing PDS

Hi,

I want to change the properties of existing PDS without copying into another PDS and delete the old one/rename the new one. Is it possible through JCL? If yes, let me know how to do that.

No , I think its possible.

By using the IDCAMS ALTER command we can change existing VSAM OR NON VSAM file properties.

Please correct me if i wrong.

hi,
1.if you have EZ - eazy edit on your shop you can use the
alter command and change the pds properties.

2. u can also use 3.3 and copy all the members to another pds
with the desired properties.
