I have 4 steps.I want to set condition code 8 to step2.can anyone tell me how to set. |

In the case of IDCAMS you can set it by using SET MAXCC=8. |

Hi Koki,
You can specify or reset the RC from the JCL stream only when using IDCAMS. There may be other utils that do this but the JCL interpreter and the step terminator do not. |

Hi,
I think you can set the return code in your COBOL program as well.
However, as far as my understanding is concerned, there are no chances that you can set RC in JCL ( excepts for utils like IDCAMS..)
