If we defined a GDG with limit of 50, what happens when the 51st generation is created? |

It all depeneds how you created the GDG base.
Empty/NoEmpty Option.
When Empty it purges all the versions existing and creates the 51st version.
If No Empty, it purges 1st version to create the 51th
