Dear friends!
Suppose in my DP shop i have to use the following tools
1.ENDEVOR
2.XPEDITOR
Say i have retrieved and made necesary changes to the affected elements.
Now whether i have to compile it using the XPEDITOR cmpliant compiler,le,precompiler etc or just submit it(i.e ADD) IT TO THE processor GROUP?
Here by saying XPEDITER compliant compiler i mean the the required complier ,whose obj-module will be xpedited.
Hope u 'll answer this as soon as possible.
Bye. |

Hi Silan,
We have something called TSO USERPROF on the ENDEVOR's first screen.
Once you give TSO USERPROF, it would give out options. In that we have a Y/N for Xpeditor. I am not sure, if it works for everybody.
Thanks & regards,
Jerry. |

Thanks Jerry!
But may be i was not clear enough.
let me re-formulate it:
step1:i've made necessary changes in the elements(cobol program,cics & db2 codes etc)
step2: I've to test it through XPEDITER & for that i've to prepare it for run.
ihave of this impresson that if we are going to test it through xpediter
then the program has to be compiled through xpediter supplied compiler.
Is it true?
hope u 'll reply soon.
thanks again.

Hi Silan,
Yes you are absolutely right. If you need your code to pass through XPEDITOR, you need to compile it using the Processor Group with the XPEDITE option.
