Hi, everybody, I have a little problem.

I am a mainframe pilot, so I am not too familiar with mainframe coding possibilities and techniques,. so maybe my question will be a piece of cake for you :-)

I would like to write a program, where I use the $D PRT JES2 commands and find search the output for drained printers.

Thanx alot for your answers.

:-)

I need to write a job (maybe even a cobol program), which will check for drained printers with the JES2 command above. Then it will compare the output with a standard output. That's it. It is a matter of using output of system/Jes commands so I can make jobs do checks for me.
