Hi,
I am not sure if ORACLE is available on Mainframes.
However, I have worked on application programs running on mainframes that uses ORACLE database running on remote hosts.

Both ORACLE and DB2 are RDBMS.

I would say, they are more similar than different.icon_smile.gif

still, I would like to know what exactly are the difference between these two amazing products.
