Hi

I have a cartridge with Variable Block size 32604.
could any one help me in finding the Correct record size and block size in FB icon_redface.gif

Hi Naveen,

No insult intended, but the ques makes no sense. The file is defined as VB, you can't reference it as FB because of the RDW/BDW fields in each VB rec.

Secondly the recs probably vary in length so a fixed length can't define every rec in the VB file.

You may want to spend additional time formulating the question. You may also want to explain why (business reason) you want to do this. It may help us to help you devise a solution.
