Error when trying to repair an Indexspace

Hi..
I would like to know where I am going wrong while trying to repair an Indexspace.

The command issued :-
Quote:
Repair set index indexspace nocheckpend


When I used this command,,, my TSO LOGON ID gets attached to the Indexspace and it gives the error;;the corresponding IndexSpace not found.....Do I need to specify something prior to the Indexspace...Pls help me asap

i think you do not have the sufficent authority.

n that is why ur id is getting prefixed. since it will assume u are the creator of the indexspace n will prefix ur tso id.

basically each tso id will have the rights to perform any action on the objects owned by it.

if you do not have administrator rights for the object you are trying to repair. it will try searching for and object of the same name, but which you may own.

and that is why the error
