Hello,
I use VS COBOL 11 on Mainframes. COMP-0 and COMP-X are not supported. Can someone let me know the VS COBOL equivalent of these ?

Where do you use COMP-0 and COMP-X ?
What date type do they discribe?

Both are binary datatypes.
One common use of COMP-X is for extended filestatus byte in Microfocus COBOL (according to various sources, COMP-X is a Microfocus extension NOT supported in standard mainframe COBOL...) |
