hi all,

i am having a member in a PDS. i have to search for a particular string say..... HOW RU..... Now if the string is found then i have to execute one set of instructions and if not found then another set of instructions.

Hi Mani,

If you want to change the string into something go for the fileaid.
There is the option for search/update.

hy mani_shankh,

you can write an ispf edit-macro with all the commands you need
and you know from editing...
