Hi,
It is meant to maintain quality in ur project duration.
like in organisations SQA Team will be there who follow some guidelines,
if it is a cmm level company. It is termed as metrics.
It is acheived by assigning some people(SQA's) who does this task
1. coding perspective 2. non-coding perspective
a.to check whether proper coding standards have been followed or not
by arranging a technical SQA
n etc.....
u can go through tat Software Engineering CMM Level Process n
i guess u can tell more abt tat.
Regards,
Raj Kishore. |

See ..
Mostly as a team member you would be participating in these (not all but some depending on team size)
Review - you will be reviewing other work and suggesting comments/remarks based on the mistakes he/she had done, if any.
DPG Meetings - Defect prevention group - the defects collected by above reviews will be discussed over a certain period of time (lets say 1 month/fortnight) and suggestive actions are taken so that they are not repeated again.
Metrics collection - Preparation - you may be assigned to provide your project performance in terms of organization wide standards - and time taken for completion - and time your project took to complete (estimated and actual efforts) likewise.
Apart from these preparation of system (business related) documents, training material could be some of the other activities which few companies consider as a part and parcel of other Quality activities.
Hope this helps. |
