What's the syntax to retrieve 60th generation GDG if there are 100 generations?
Edited: from the V word to G word |

In the context of your question what do you mean by "retrieve"?
OTOH, "latest generation" is GDG(0), previous-to-latest is GDG(-1) and so on, so if I understood what you mean - answer should be GDG(-59). |

They Syntax should fetch the 60th version..
I hope GDG(-59) is the right answer.
Thanks |

If there are 100 generatons cataloged (from 1 to 100), then (-59) will not be the wanted generation . . . I believe (-39) would be the generation to specify. |

Well, not to split hairs, but the 60th generation would be G0060V00, maybe a diff version but the 60th generation is G0060. |

the question as posed really makes little sense ...
GDGs logic goes backwards , not forward
nobody will keep count of when generations started accumulating but
but for the sake of discussion if no generations were rolled over/lost
and all of them where allocated
the 100th would the current one ...(0)
the 99th the ...(-1)
and if my math is not f***** up
the 60th the ...(-40)
but IMBBW |
