Hello,
Does this program also happen to interace with DB2?
If so look for a problem between "here" and the associated db2 environment. The CAF (Call attach Facility) and the "extended sqlca" sound more like db2. |

Hi,
Yes it also accesses DB2 tables. Iam not sure whether its an issue with both db2 and IDMS.
Thanks |

My guess is db2 (or the way this process istrying to interface to db2).
If it were idms, you would probably see different error details.
May be a good time to check with your db2 support people. |

Hi,
Just wanted to provide an update on this issue as I happened to come across it yet another time. I could fix the issue this time working with the DB2 support people. The problem was fixed by choosing proper compile options for a DB2 IDMS batch program |
