Hi frnd,
As per my enquiry using the Batch Process v can use FTP utility to send the mail. but i m not sure of the CICS. let me know if any solution is. |

Hi Khamarutheen,
Not only batch, In online also if some abend occurs immediately email will be sent to the corresponding persons.
These mail-id's will be stored in Unix mail boxes. |

When ever u want to send a mail thru cics... submit a batch job thru cics program. Let the batch job have an email sending steps.
Donno if there is any other easier process |

we can send an email message from cics to a smtp server through a CICS TCP/IP sockets application.
