Hi Team,

Currently we are calling webservice using cobol-85 using the db2xml.soaphttpnv by passing the SOAP XML and details.

I wanted to get information specifically on how to call java program from cobol-85(if possible).

I tried executing the java code on the z/os unix server using bpxbatch module. It worked as a charm.

I researched through online search & asking with members on site at work and came to know that only using OO-COBOL(object oriented cobol) we can call the java module. We do not have OO-COBOL at our site now.

Any insight to support my thought or otherwise by expert team members would be much appreciated.

If any I can call java module from cobol-85, then i will research on if i could code a webservice call from that Java module.

Many thanks in advance!
