Hi,

We are having sort of a memory leak, the ESQA is overflowing and the ECSA utilization keeps increasing by 2% each day. I mean ECSA converted to ESQA.

ECSA is 84% used now and we have couple of days until the system halts. I am trying to identify which address space is causing high ECSA utilization.

We have *SYSTEM* using 172% of ESQA and 38% of all vitual storage icon_sad.gif

I am looking at SMF type 78 records to identify the subpools and key occupying ECSA.

Could you please let me know how to identify an address space from SUBPOOL and KEY value.

The attachment just gives additional info.

We were able to look at the memory map and identify the task which was allocating storage and not releasing it. It is a BMC DB2 data collector task - BMCDBC.
The task has been stopped now.
