I am currently working on CA IDEAL programming language which is used in Mainframe both online and batch. It is very old language and usedrarely now a days. While doing enhancement on old program I came across a command TRANSFER which compiler doesn't support now. This is very old code present in production and now I am doing changes to the program and it is creating probem while compiling the program. When I seearched for the alternative of this command I am not able to get anything.I asked lot of people who earlier worked in IDEAL but they also don't know about alternative command but suggested that need to work on building some logic to make it work. Is there anyone who knows about IDEAL language and alternative of TRANSFER command.

Hello,

Which release of IDEAL is being used?

Which release of IDEAL was used tom compile the problem program? Will the old version of the code still run?

Post 20 lines of the the code (including the TRANSFER line) before and after the TRANSFER line.

In a run that fails, please post the diagnostic info presnted.
