I have a program sending message to my PC(via socket API 'EZASOKET' SOCKET--CONNECT--WRITE--CLOSE) , and this program is trigged by TDQ.
when I write a record into TDQ, the program starts to run, but CICS hangs, which means CICS screen become frozen and no one can operate on it...
From the log, I can see SOS fatal error. But don't understand why socket API can result in such impact to the whole CICS region...
can you help to explain ? |

Probably because, whether or not you yet know this, ANY transaction in a CICS region can cause the entire region to come down. This is just the way things work. |

Why not follow your transaction with CEDX to get closer to the problem... |
