Except when IDCAMS is involved, I assume the constant references to MAXCC come from the NOTIFY message.

Yup, when IDCAMS is involved - but Never with Syncsort.

Ramsri and other simply refuse to learn/use what is proper and for people who have been working on the mainframe for several years, there is no excuse.

I have been very tempted to lock topics for repeat offenders with a note and let them re-post using the correct terms. . .
