Hi All,

I have created the screen in ADSO but not getting a clear picture how to assign the function keys to the options.I can see in ADSA the keys have been assigned to the screen but those are not in correct order.

few of the queries I have, if anyone can clear it.

1) after I created the new screen how do I assign the function keys to them.

2) in ADSA ,I can see for the existing screens function keys have been assigned and function name has been assigned like below

Application name: MASTER Version: 1

Select Response Assigned Select Function Program/
(/) Name Key (/) name/type(1,2,3)* Dialog name

_ MSTCR PF10 _ FMSTCSID / 1 DMSTCSID

I want to see the code inside function FMSTCSID,How I can see that.

Thanks in advance for any of your help regarding this.

Hello

I hope this is the problem u r facing:
Prob: You created a new screen in ADSO and u want to add it to your main application.

My suggestion:
You can do this only in ADSA (giving your application). You are doing correct. You can see what exactly in an existing option by selecting that line as '/'.

There you need to check whether the function key you are proposing is existing. If so you can modify that line by giving functionkey under 'select response'; modify 'select function program' ; type (1/2/3 : depends on your newscreen that you designed whether its an menu screen or so.. select accordingly); then u provide dialog name for that in the rightmost field in that line.

Once done u need to compile this application so that it can reflect.
I hope you understand.

Thanks
Kumar
