hello experts,
Please let me know the solution....,
if there is any other way to delete members from PDS. members are more than 150.
I know it can be done in SAS. I am working on SAS to COB conversion. So i need that to be done using utilities.
Thanks in advance. |

Certainly would be simple to do in ISPF by issuing one command (D P*) ....
|
And where would you enter this command? |

From the Command Line in a 3.1 member list 5.2.4.3 D -- delete members
actually, I think you can do it from 3.1 and 3.4, but I did not bother to test. |

dbz,
I did try to test and could not find anywhere to enter this as a Primary Command for a member list (the apparent format of superk's response).
Option 3.1 will allow a member name mask as panel input when selecting the Delete option. |

Might be my mistake. I remember seeing that specific command posted here years ago by someone I believe to be reputable, but to be honest I don't think I've ever tried it. |
