Hi All,

This was an interview question ;

Program A has a cursor updating some table. If update is successful I have to carry an indicator field(could be any column's value to be used by program B's sql) to the another program(say program B) which is being called by program A.

Now If my SQL in pgm B fails, I have coded ROLLBACK (in pgm B), would this ROLLBACK cause upate of pgm A also to be rolled back or will update of pgm A will be allowed to commit?

Hope I tried to explain my question clearly.

Please suggest.
Thanks in advance.
Shailesh
