Hello,

What is "CSP"?

When using uncommon abbreviations, you save time by using the full name rather than the abbreviation. . .

I download the document before I post this, that document is 560 Pages one contains Client specific CSP, I'm trying my level best to get one in online. But I'm not able to find one. I'm looking for some document where I can start reading about CSP from the Basics.

Thanks for your time.

Dick,
I worked at a shop in the late 70s that was trying to do new development in CSP but it had trouble finding favor among the programmers. Next they tried COBOL/XE, a product of the same vendor that offered Intertest before CA bought it. CSP was also known as CSP/AD (Cross System Product/Application Development). Both CSP and COBOL/XE were alternate methods of developing online programs like TELON for instance.

CSP is a IBM product.

Batch development also for CSP even if Online is the most used.

Yes, I knew that. I meant to say that COBOL/XE was a product of Online Software International (I think that was their name), the company who owned InterTest before CA bought OSI.

I didn't realize that. We used it for online only.

searching IBM for CSP CSP/AD CSP/AE info is a murky ground...

anyway this is what I found
www-01.ibm.com/software/awdtools/visgen/about/csp-migrate.html

notice there is a bit of confusion betweed the CSP/... and the CSP370/.. stuff

but on the other side ...
publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/zos/v1r9/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.zos.r9.cbcpx01/csp.htm

even more confusing...
